Thank you everyone. 

Don Klose stopped by the hospital to visit last night and showed me this thread on the forum. I can't tell you how nice it was to hear all the good wishes and prayers from my OGR friends, and how much of a boost in spirits I received.

Things got even better this afternoon when the doctors decided I had made enough progress in just a few days to be discharged. It's great to have been given a new lease on life.

Now, I have to get down to the basement and run some trains!

I have been in an out of hospital of late so I know how good it is  to get home. Hopefully things will work out for the both of us in the long run.
