Chris,

The front looks good, but whether they would be good for stamping on soft plaster depends on the kind of stone detail on the rear of the sheets. I've been looking for years for an embossed sheet with good detail on the rear.

Actually, I'd settle for having good detail between stones so that the individual blocks come out well-defined. It would sure beat hand carving.

Let us know how they turn out.

I know, taking a chance.  but what I thought was use the front as an imprint.  but Ill have to allow it to semi dry, then stamp it like concrete.  slight push and pull.  I might glue on nails to act as stubs to pull the thing off so I can get it off easy!

Ill do some trial runs and video it.  its worth a shot.  its better than spending a ton of money on the prefab pieces.

I looked up the monstermodel works and boy they are a little pricey for me right now since this is my living room model right now.

thanks

Chris

just got the sheets, they are a shiny plastic.  not sure if this will stamp the plaster.  I hope so.  im going to try a test board to see if this will work.  They market these sheets as a template for roofs and brick facing for scratch buildings, but I thought at first, this may work great.  Now, not so sure.  its sheet plastic.  I will have to glue this to a flat board, then attach some blocks to it so I can Press it onto the plaster surface.

well see!  Chris
