Still trying to determine if K Line produced additional 18" extruded aluminum Lackawanna passenger car models (for example, a baggage car), or if the same model cars listed below may have been produced with different car numbers or names.

K Line 18" Aluminum Lackwanna "Phoebe Snow" passenger train consist:
Railway Post Office #1819
Coach #321
Diner #469
Sleeper "Tobyhanna"
Sleeper "Cohocton"
Observation "Tavern Lounge" #789
What little information I have found on the internet verifies the car type and identifying markings for the six cars listed above.  The  Legacy K Line web site shows the 2005 1st edition catalog as listing K 4638D with four cars and K 4638E with two cars, but no car numbers or names.  I have not seen the catalog itself to check the information accompanying the individual car listings.  The othere catalogs listed show nothing for the 18" aluminum cars.
I have been in contact with the library at the National Toy Train Museum and plan to visit the museum/library during a trip to Strausburg in early April.  The library is kindly assisting with the "Phoebe Snow" search, and as their reference resources on the subject are limited, additional documents and information sources would surely be appreciated.
If anyone has information concerning what 18" aluminum "Phoebe Snow" cars were produced by K Line, please advise.
Thanks in advance,
Martin

I have a few older K-Line catalogs, and the 1999 first edition lists 18” heavyweight cars, including an RPO. The second edition lists smoothside cars, but only the 15” extruded aluminum cars. I see none in the 2005 first edition.

Some older heavyweight baggage cars were mixed in with all streamline trains until the end of service.

Thank you.  At a train show that my club participated in a couple of weeks ago I ran the six aluminum cars with a heavyweight baggage, heavyweight coach, and three Lackawanna express box cars.   The 11-car consist pulled by two Lionel E-8 "A" units looked great and received a lot of visitor compliments.

In reference to the search for additional car names/numbers, when I stared the thread I thought there would be K Line collectors or 3-rail Lackawanna pasenger car collectors who would help with the question, "other than the six aluminum cars listed, were there any other K line 18" Lackawanna aluminum produced"?

I do appreciate your reply, but am disappointed that there have been no others.

Guess it is time to shift the search to other areas.

I need a pair of the coaches (the smoothside ones) because a tourist railroad nearby used them for their consist. Finding only a pair of coaches without the rest of the train is impossible. But, could someone post pictures of the coaches so that I could confirm that they would work for my needs (if indeed I could find them)? Also, did the coaches have specific K-Line item numbers?
