Hi all, I have one of the K-line 4-6-6T engines with the Lionel railsounds and cruise control. Surprisingly enough the TMCC works just fine, it's when it is in conventional control that it is having issues. At lower voltage the lights fade bright to dim, also the direction control kills the power but nothing happens (no movement) however if the you hit the whistle the whistle will sound and he engine will move hit it again and it whistles and goes back to neutral and so on. If you turn the juice up the light fade stops the direction control works but you still have the direction changing with the use of the whistle. I have seen engines that have not worked in TMCC or DCS but the conventional control worked or the whole engine was dead, but I have never had one where the TMCC works just fine but the conventional control is messed up. Anyway I could use a little insight as to what to do with his engine.
