terry,
The rail sounds engines are considered conventional engines, I do believe, your Crusader engine needs to run from the TIU TR mode of your DCS hand held remote, as a conventional, unless the engine is P2/P3 or TMCC/Legacy. Program your Z4K accordingly. It will also run on the Z4K TR mode if you have the side receiver for the Z4K, and have the Channel programmed to fixed. Reference Barry's DCS O Gauge Companion book, for set up instructions, follow the instructions exactly as Barry has them written.

thanks,,,now my ,,,daaaaaaaaa moment,,,,i have tmcc,,cab one, hook directly into the layout,,,only have 2 tmcc,,,so I can work the railsounds from the tmcc?
terry,
Can't help you with that, I have legacy and DCS I do know in order to run conventional with Legacy I must have the Powermaster, TMCC has something similar
however guys like Guns are recommending the Powermaster, maybe he will see your thread and give you some advise.

I run conventional with DCS the easy way. Everything is set for a command environment. All DCS ports set to fixed voltage. One throttle for each loop. When running conventional I vary the voltage with the Z-4000 throttles. That throttle also has a bell/whistle button.
A powermaster,TPC 300 or TPC 400 would be required to vary the voltage via the CAB-1.
I hope this is the worst mistake I make in 2015
Terry, I agree, WOW!
WOW is exactly right. Glad this came back to the top 'cause I missed it two days ago.
Tim,
I always though they were, what are they made of?
