I have the semi scale K Line GG1 w/o TMCC & wanted to know if anyone has a diagram of how wire it in series. The engine runs great, but the speed range, even at low voltage is just a tad too fast

It's very easy to wire it in series. You just disconnect one wire for each motor feed from one of the motors, that will leave you with one wire to each motor from the motor drive board. Connect the two motor terminals you have removed the wires from together and the job is done.
I havent had the shell off yet - are the wires color coded , like on the williams or any 2 wires will do?
You want to take one wire from one side of the motor drive off one motor, then one wire from the other motor from the opposite motor drive feed. The colors won't actually matter, but they should be color coded. You then just connect those motor terminals that have been disconnected together.
I just did this with my 2 K-Line/O-Line GG1s; it was very easy to do, and the difference in performance is amazing. Thanks, John!

Where have you been John, that's a two year old thread.
Good advice never gets old, John.😀
Hey, at least I searched for what I was after instead of cluttering the forum with another thread! All kidding aside, this simple modification really makes a big difference. If I ever decide to enter a locomotive drag race, one of these GG1s returned to stock wiring would be a contender for sure!

Well, it was good when I gave it, so I guess it still works.
