K Line Giant Eagle train | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Does anyone have any information on a Proctor and Gamble promotional train set built by K Line in, I believe, 1989? It was decorated for the Giant Eagle Grocery chain. I am looking to purchase one, or at least the Heavy Hauler tractor Trailer/flat car set that were part of the consist. The flat car was red and the tractor trailer was white. All three pieces stated "Giant Eagle" and the trailer also stated "Simply the Best." If you have any information on this set or have one, or the tractor trailer set that you would be interested in selling, I would be interested.

WOW, that's cool. I have a lot of Heavy Haulers but I've never seen that one.

Thanks for the info, Bill! This will help me in my search.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, and my mother was a loyal Giant Eagle shopper.

Since my collection and layout reflect, in many ways, memories of my

childhood and Pittsburgh, this set would make a great addition.

My search continues.
