K-Line/Lionel Alco FA Trucks ?

I just purchased the 2010 K-Line/Lionel Napa Valley Wine Train FA-A set (3 rail). Considering the low cost of these units I am not complaining, but the trucks are plastic. My question is; did K-Line ever make diecast trucks for their semi-scale Alco FA's? I would like to try and swap out the trucks on both the power and dummy units. A potential problem might be the truck mounted sidewinder can motors for the power unit, but I think this could somehow be worked around. There may even be a possibility my NVWT car bodies would fit the chasis?
