Jtown Bob,
Since that tank car was made in 1999 it will be very hard to fine. The first thing I would do would be to call MTH and check with Rich Foster to see how many were made. I have a feeling the number will be very low. Going to the York Train Show as Eddie G. suggested is not a guarantee there will be one there. If you go to the T.C.A. York Train Show I suggest you leave your name and phone number with as many dealers as you can. Hopefully, one of them may pick one up someday.
I don't think that MTH ever got the Kodak Blessing to use their name and may have been cancelled. I know there was a bunch of items in that catalog that never went into production.
prrhorsecurve may be right on. I was thinking this but I can't be sure That's the reason I suggest you get in touch with Rich Foster at MTH.
Weaver has made them with similar graphics. There is one on the bay now.

Eddie, Jim and horseshoecurve, thanks for the feedback. I will take the advice. Norton, I'm collecting certain items from MTH; so the lead to Weaver is appreciated, but won't help - thanks anyway. Happy rail roading; Bob
According to the "Product Reference Guide" by Steven Glynn, that item was indeed cancelled.
MTH Kodak Tank Car never made it through Kodak Legal. I did hear that one mock-up was in the legal department, but I never saw it. Lionel, Aristo Craft G, and K-Line never made it through Kodak licensing. They did start to ship their Kodak marked products and Kodak stopped them. Somewhere around here I did have the shipped numbers. I will try to find them-----don't hold your breath!
Charly, thanks.
Can you send me a link to the "Product Reference Guide" you are referencing. This would have saved me a ton of time. Jtown Bob
For a cancelled item that shouldn't have been shipped the Lionel Kodak tank car is often available. Being a film loving photographer I made sure I had one. Of course today, in the all but dead state Kodak is in, I am sure they would license to anyone who cared (FWIW Eastman Kodak chemical was spun off several years back and is doing OK)
The Kodak set that K-Line did was one of my favorites.
