Koppers Coke

On eBay is a typical older looking bag of coal that says "Koppers Coke", then "Minature Scale Coke-Clean, Dust Proof Plastic" I cant identify it as Lionel, American Flyer, etc. Does anybody on the Forum know about the origins of this bag of plastic coke? Thanks in advance-P Hering Lombard. IL

I am guessing that it is fairly old. Kopper's Coke based in Minnesota developed new processes for the use of coke. However, in the 70's, I believe, it became an EPA site. One should assume that whoever was selling this toy product was doing it before the EPA got involved.

The other option is to use it as a cleanup site on your layout.
