Tonight I discovered that my KTM 0-8-0 actually has a different gearbox ratio closer to 16:1 compared to the usual 25:1 found in other larger KTM US hobbies locomotives. The different gear ratio makes sense for this little locomotive.
Wondering if someone out there with an encyclopedic knowledge of the KTM locomotives could tell me if there are other US Hobbies pieces out there with the 16:1 ratio? Maybe this was an option for every US Hobbies loco?
