I just bought the MTH Premier Santa Fe ABA set. As reported by others in this forum, the Mars light is spectacular, plating superb and the colors brilliant. Only problem was a bad front coupler on one engine. Patrick was extremely accommodating. I sent the engine back to him, he fixed the problem immediately upon receiving it, and quickly shipped it right back to me. Great service! All is well in Santa Fe land.

Yes, you nailed it, Patrick’s Trains, Pat, is always helpful, and I purchased his special run, Lionel’s Legacy 2-8-0 B&O Consolidation steamer, and it runs fine, right out of the box. He explained to me that it’s harder to do special runs of Lionel engines do to the minimum order numbers, which, I completely understand. Please post pictures of your new Sante Fe diesels. I've had good luck with Patrick's trains. No complaints whatsoever.
Patrick’s is great
Unfortunately - unless he's changed his policy - Patrick's Trains (located in West Virginia) WILL NOT ship to Canada. Not exactly sure why, but when I called him a few years ago and said I was interested in purchasing a locomotive (and fully realizing I'd be paying heftier 'international' shipping charges) as soon as I mentioned my address he abruptly said WE DO NOT SHIP TO CANADA, then muttered something to the effect because of a bad experience he had once.
Oh well, I realize it's his prerogative but - his loss. 🤔
Pat has been on the forefront the last several years bringing special products to the marketplace from both Lionel and MTH. You won't find a nicer or more honest person to spend your hobby money with.

I will be posting pictures in the next few days. I will also post pictures of the Railking Version with the Premier Version for comparisons.
