Now it's your turn. Show us you RR and any other workers on your layout, and you better treat them right, or you will have problems with the Union. LOL

All Gorgeous, so far, great start.
After we post all, or most, of our workers, I will highly recommend that they all join a Union, if they haven't all ready.
Maybe I will take a stab at writing a song for them, promoting Unions the way Pete Seeger did. LOL.

Now we have not only more workers, but also workers in action; they are all heroes. What a glorious Labor Day weekend we will have.

Here are a few of the fellows that I used to work with at NASA just returning from a trip and stopping by at McDonald's to catch a quick bit of lunch.
time
Speaking of Lunch...it looks like its lunch time at General Door and Sash as well, the Food truck is entering the parking lot for its peak business time of the day.
Of course, just like all hard workers, this maintenance crew around the freight house, need to stop by the "Necessary" for a short break.
Happy Labor Day everyone

Supervisor Jones (Arnold's nephew) , wearing a bright yellow safety vest, watches carefully as a long MPC "J" powered fright rolls out of town on the mainline. Jones has helped the railroad earn a fine safety record.

Here on the Prewar layout the workers are stumped with the 021 illuminated switch mechanism while the 259 patiently waits with its long freight consist to continue along its route. Unfortunately the foreman went back to the yard office for his repair manual
Elsewhere at the Lionel Terrace Station porters are assisting weekend travelers with the start of their vacation. While the mail carrier just emptied the station mailbox before the start of the holiday weekend. Lets not overlook the newspaper boy selling the evening edition paper to help pass the time for everyone’s journeys.

Here are some more workers from my authentic, NYC themed layout -
The seated guy is a Union Featherbedder. He gets $90 an hour but just eats hot dogs all day, per Union contract -
These guys have been on a break for four hours. Don’t bother them -

The Wreck Crew knows no holidays. They are the First Responders of the railroad, ready to go at a moment's notice. They can rest after the wreck is cleaned up and the right-of-way is back open.

Technically my workers this Labor Day weekend are me, myself, and I as I am currently helping Scott Mann with the SD40-2 design matrix and marking up E1 and EA drawings now that Scott, Richard, Santiago, and I have all looked them over. Since a photo my fingers at a keyboard are pretty boring, this might be more interesting....

On a less serious note, I think the McCoys are in for some serious trouble!!!! Well at least they are safe from the storm trooper. He always misses.

I don’t have a layout or any scenes just yet, so I have to use the 1:1 scale guys from my work place….

Bob, have you assigned a crew to the new track cleaning car? These guys could be training.

@GG1 4877 Thanks. Now I'm feeling even more like a small-mouth (bass) observing a lure (aka B&O EA) especially knowing that "the sun sets" soon on the much more than enticing Sunset offering.
