Our friend, here, Dave Detert, designed the track layout for me. 

He squeezed as much as he could on 8' x 8.5'.  For the backdrop I found a banner making company on line.  Ya know, the type of outfit that would make street banners. I sent them a picture I liked to print. I wish there was a way for me to eliminate the glare on that backdrop!  My trap door is under the hay field.  I can, just barely, run my two scale GG1s (Williams) around the outer track.  They bind ever so slightly on the curves.

My grades are WAY out of kilter. My hand needs to be on the throttle at all times when operating the center reverse Y track.  More power ascending and really slow coming down or a derail occurs every time.   I do not intend to hook up that fake siding under construction. I've had it with switches!  

I'm wiring the power poles now.  The wiring will be difficult to photograph.

I need to cover some imperfections with shrubs and I'll call it quits until I think of something else.  Also - find 'O' scale garden art is not easy!
