Just obtained this large brass Dreyfuss Huson boiler and frame..the plain frame is a solid piece of machined brass and so heavy it would make a decent club! What type of motor and drive gear do I need and does anyone have any info as to the manufacturer and era it was produced.

Really tough to tell from your photos. I am completely guessing here, but I would say Williams boiler, Hines Lines Pacific frame, scratch frame. I could tell you how to make it into a model, since I have done essentially that, but it is involved. I had special rods cast in Nickel Silver. Might still be available from Stevenson. I machined the drivers from brass dowel, and motor is Pittman/gears NWSL.
Nice toilet seat cover, though.
Thanks!sounds difficult

Ok mounted the boiler to the MTH chassis.Despite the incorrect wheel arrangement it will work.I had to fabricate an aluminum bracket to mount it in the rear which already had two machine screws drilled and tapped.I drilled and tapped a 4-40 machine screw on the front to secure it.
