Hello, having trouble with 022 switches and large engine o gauge 260e any other switches work better with these type engines? Thanks

The K Line Super Snap switches work very well. Although they are no longer being produced, you can still find them at shows and on ebay.
What is happening with the O22s? Electrical? Derailment?
I think the wheel flange is making engine sit up going across the plastic on the switch which in turn loses power and stops. Thanks I’ll look for some. Was wondering if 711 would work they are prewar vs any other are post war?
The geared wheels are probably riding up on the plastic guard rails of the 022's. The solution would be replacing the switches that engine runs on with prewar 011 switches of the same era as your 260. 711's you would have the same problem. You would have success with 027 1121 or American flyer prewar O switches, but the radius would not match Lionel O gauge.
