Rich,

Sorry to see you go as a sponsor. Your work on the BDRR and suggestions, recommendations and insite has been invaluable to many of us in the hobby. I own all three of the DVD / Blu Ray's and have lent them to quite a few people who had / have questions on creating a layout. I have purchased many products based on comments, posts and the items mentioned by you.

Best of luck,

Kevin

These are terrific videos. The teach a lot of technique plus have plenty of minutes of watching the trains run on his incredible layout. When nothing is on TV I pop one of these in to enjoy while grading papers, etc. Very professional job. You'll like them - definitely Muffin recommended.

PS - order yours!

Thanks to everyone!

I'll still be around, just probably not a sponsor.  If I ever do another video I'll be back.  Thanks to OGR for everything.  This forum and the magazine has been a great benefit to me and my hobby as well as my small business.  I'm happy that I could return the favor and support the forum as a sponsor.

GG-1fan,

I'm not sure what the problem is with the contact link.  It may have to do with your email setup.  Just enter my email address directly.  You can find my email address in my profile.  I don't want to list the email here verbatim so I don't get spammed so you can enter it yourself as richbattista followed by @verizon.net.  Send me an email and I'll send you mailing instructions.  Thanks.

Again, thanks

Rich

Same here; bought all three as they came out and thoroughly enjoyed each for their excellent, how to's and production quality.  This thread along with today's rainy weather will bring these dvds out for a run in between preseason baseball and college hoops games.

Thank you all for your purchases!

A little bit of bad news.  For most of you who bought Saturday and after I have temporarily ran out of part II's since my shipment of new videos has been delayed until Thursday.  I should be able to ship the rest out by Thursday or Friday.  I apologize for any inconvenience.  I will keep you posted on this thread if anything changes.

Thanks again,

Rich

Thanks Rich

good evening everyone

i would just like to share my experience with rich and mention that he was very kind enough to mail out another set off dvd after the first set got lost in the mail and i have received the second set and would like to thank him publicly for not giving me any issues and going ahead and sending me another set, also his dvd are great and enjoyable to watch and i would recommend them to anyone who ask me my opinion also his dvd are packed with a lot of tips and tricks and also shows his layout in action thank you rich

Lee,
Part II DVD is different from part I and III in that it is "double layered" as opposed to the others which are single layered.  I needed to use double layered because the video is 84min long and would not fit on a regular sized DVD.  Double layered means just that, there is one layer under another and the DVD player laser must adjust to read the second layer underneath.  Because of that it needs to be more accurate and some older player may have trouble.  I ask that you please try a different and preferably newer player and see if it is any better.  Otherwise, you don't need to buy a new one I'll send you another.  But if it is the player it will not make much difference.  So try a different player and let me know.  If you have a Blu-ray player, try that, they usually work better.
