Unfortunately I can't be there this time round, just ran out of time. I will however still be building the On30 layout.
I will however still be building the On30 layout.
And I will be looking forward to a nice, detailed article about that project.
Unfortunately I can't meet the schedule, I have too many other things going on right now. Any chance of extending the deadline, like maybe three months?
Stewart,
How about a link to the "Contest Thread"?
Thx!
Alex
I am in, I think extending the deadline is a little unfare to the folks that have been building for the March 31st deadline. Just my 2 cents. Nick
I"m in, but I'm not entirely sure I can finish her to my liking...as for an extention, that would no doubt help "all" parties concerned.
I wish I could have a layout done by March 31, and if the deadline was extended a couple of months I could probably finish one. However, I agree with Nick that extending the deadline would be unfair to those who have been working hard to finish by the 31st. I'd say, for those who can't meet the current deadline, there's always next time.
Cheers,
Ken
Probably go ahead with the existing micro-layout contest schedule, you should have some winners there? And maybe have another contest after that, official or unofficial, maybe with relaxed standards like double-micro size to bring in some more possibilities?
I really like to see promotion of small portable layouts or modules, I'm thinking smaller than 4x8. Just my two cents worth of brainstorming.
I'd like to build a small layout of some kind this year but can't meet the micro-layout schedule. A way to use surplus inventories of small-radius track. Let's keep the ideas rolling.
I'm still in. Have all materials in hand. The Apprentice is resuming work on his On30. Hopefully we'll have both done by deadline.
