I took some new pictures this morning of various areas of the layout as I am just starting the process of adding scenery.  As I do so, I will post the progress.  Retaining walls, rock work, etc. are mostly in place so I will begin the "greenery" over the winter since my greenery outside will not be taking up my weekend time.  The morning sunlight was coming in and is the only source of illumination in the pictures.  This creates some interesting contrasts....I hope you enjoy and as always appreciate you taking the time to look...  Right clicking on a picture and then clicking on "open link in new window" will give you a full page detailed view.

Spence and James....the camera I used for the pictures above is a Nikon L110.  This is their entry level ( or close to it ) digital SLR.  It has quite a few features one of which is a point and shoot setting.  This is the setting I was using this morning which allows me to adjust the F setting.  Most of the pictures were taken close to F-8.  The camera has very good capability in low light but of course not as good as a professional, and much more expensive, camera.  I have been very happy with it so far...

Thanks Bigrail!!

Guy....post some pictures of your sawmill area...I would really like to see it!

Alex...thank you my friend, always great to see your posts and your wonderful work!!

"Laidoffsick"....Thanks so much!!  I have enjoyed your update videos..you layout is just beautiful!

Pete...thanks!....we are discussing a video but the layout needs a lot of work.  The scenery needs to be in place for a video so a magazine article may be first.

Pat...good to hear from you!!  When are you and your better half coming to visit again??

Andy...thank you so much...it is just a good thing I have a decent camera and the Good Lord's sunlight!!
