Don, stunning progress on all fronts; scenery, track, rolling stock! The cold winter yielded great results.

Compared to your evolving masterpiece, my Youngstown & Southern feels more and more like happy haiku.

I was going to respond in a haiku but couldn't get my syllables in the proper number.

As someone with a somewhat narrow and long space beset with furnace, sump pump, shelving etc., I always looked to your work as a real inspiration in what I might be able to do in 2R.

I seem to recall your salient observations here a few years ago about the joy of O vs. HO in that less is more. It certainly is. It also tends to be more work than HO which is blessed with a wide array of wonderful products.

I guess I just like the fun of being a bit off the normal path of HO (too many years in N did that). And no, John Albee, (if you're lurking), I don't want the added challenge of S. Ha!

Paul! Big fan of your work my friend....you have a great eye for modeling and color and the pike has a great shortline feel. We will have to connect some time...not sure if you get up to Maine very often...we are right off 95 near Portland....
