And thanks for the warning about the overpass. I was planning on buying one or two, but as the owner of an Acela and several GG-1's, that wouldn't have worked out too well!!!
Thanks to your video, as well as a few other recent posts, I have finally pulled out my Acela and gave it a run. I would add to your warning, the Acela doesn't handle going under a 213 Lift Bridge that hasn't been lifted I inadvertently left a switch thrown, sending the Acela where it wasn't meant to go, dinging one pantograph. I was pretty bummed out, but before I started throwing things, I looked on line and found a document on Lionel's website which explains how to attach the pantographs. Using the doc referenced below (and a great deal of care and patience), I was able to reattach the dinged pantograph in about a half hour. Don't know if your accident was as minor as mine, but you may want to take a shot at the fix yourself. I freely admit to being a techno- peasant, so if I can do it, it can't be THAT bad.
