I work on the trains every year over Christmas. I started the layout about 3 years ago, and I have along way to go. Finally, I am finishing the front below the bridge. I used a sheet of blue foam board, Gypsolite, and finished with paints. I plan to build a water tower and one other building this winter. I started when my grandsons were babies, and now they are four years old.

New scratch built wooden water tower. My lay out is small 12x12. I liked the Altoona Model Works, but it is too large for the spot I had to put it. So, I built my own. Back to work Monday, so the work on the train lay out will slow down. I have one more building planed his winter.
