I would like to replace the standard bulbs in certain passenger cars with 18 volt bayonet LEDs.
Is there more than one vendor where I can obtain these?

There are a few vendors out there:

http://www.autolumination.com/trainbulbs_leds.htm - here I would use the 1445 White-3K
Unfortunately, due to the nature of LEDs, the light distribution can be lacking as discussed in this thread: https://ogrforum.com/...ght-bulb-replacement

I agree with the lack of distribution of illumination. I used the led strips and GRJ constant current regulators which did a fine job replacing the bayonet bulb holders
