Guys attached is a photo of a small project that I'm working on. The LED snapped off and I soldered back onto the leads. However the light no longer blinks. My question is are these small lamps polarity sensitive?

Yes they are polarized.
But you may have burnt it out in the process.

Thanks for responding, I'll swap it around and see what happens. Hopefully it will work, otherwise I have to buy a new led and try again. Also looking at the circuitry of this module, what would be the + colored electrical lead, blue or white?
Update: Reversed the polarity of the leads and the lamp worked just fine. Got lucky I guess!
The reverse voltage specification of LED's is typically 6-7 volts, so those two little batteries probably didn't have the voltage to cook it.
