An earlier post discussed family involvement with our hobby. My son, now 21, still enjoys building and collecting Legos and has, at his own initiative, added some of his Lego creations to my layout. While certainly not scale, they certainly capture the spirit of my semi-scale layout which features a lot of postwar and MPC equipment.
Has anybody else incorporated Lego items into their layouts?

Not on the layout because I don't have one yet. But some on flatcars, The STAR WARS guys circle the club layout every time the new movies come out.
These guys have a tendency to show up on my layout occasionally.....
R2 is quite good at running the crane.

All the rubber tired, asphalt roaming vehicles on my layout are/will be LEGO.
My stock cars are also full of Daleks and My Little Ponys.
I've got some Lego and Mega Block Items I plan on using on my layout. Mega Block Hanger 13(?) from their Aliens line, Several Lego fishing boats, a ferry from a couple of years back that posted a thread about (will carry 3 1;43 size autos or one traditional size railroad car as a carfloat) and several others.
Since I first saw a picture of the Lego City Ferry I was wondering how it would look with 0 gauge trains so I finally bought one to see for myself. If any one else was wondering here it is. Not bad as a small vehicle ferry or a single car float for those of us with smaller layouts. Selective compression at work.
Yup. Love Legos and Lionel. These are from my last layout. My new layout will also incorporate Lego mini figs and buildings.
As a toy train guy, I love everything about this!
