Lighting a building on fire | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Who has any ideas on added LEDs to a building? Not looking for illumination, but rather red/orange/yellow flashing like if something was on fire.. looking for leds/lights that are self contained(battery)

If you use a simple picaxe board with orange, red and yellow LED's pulsing randomly, you can get very realistic fire glow, especially if enhance it with hot glue to refract the light with simulated cinders and embers. Campfires, trash barrels and welders are also done with these.

our club added the lights in 2014 and back in 2016 we added smoke.

the lights still work but we keep burning out resisters.
