Lights not working on n MTH diesel

Hi. I just received an MTH proto sound 3.0 o scale Virginian diesel engine. Everything is great except one of the two lights in the front isn't blinking. The short manual that came with the train said that the mode could have changed and to program it back. I followed the instructions but no luck only the left one blinks. I'm running it in DCC and using the Z-4000. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Try a reset in conventional. 1 horn followed by 5 bells with a confirmation double horn blow if successful. There may be a DCC reset, but I don't do DCC.
