Anyone remove the roofs on the LIMA/Pola European passenger cars? The floor and body are one piece, but the roof appears to be removable. They have nicely appointed interiors and I would like to add lights to them. I have a diner and a roomette car. New trucks/couplers, removing a few "telltale" European details and new paint, and they should fit in with any passenger consist.

Note that these cars are almost certainly 1:43 or 1:45 scale, rather than 1:48.
Of course, they may be models of smaller than typical NAmer prototype rolling stock. Not a big difference in any case, but just a thought.
I matched these(LIMA) cars behind my Williams GM&O 72 streamlined passenger cars and they matched perfectly...matched behind my MTH Premier streamlined cars they are slightly off (smaller). Not really noticeable unless you have prior knowledge of a size difference.
