Great idea and excellent execution!
I like the way you use the layers of the foam as the different"lifts" of harvested limestone instead of blending them to make them disappear as you would for natural cliffs or rock formations. It shows a the evolution of a real quarry.
thanks for all the compliments. I grew up with my family owning a quarry and lived right next to it. I wanted to represent that on my layout.
