My friend ordered the Lion Chief Plus NYC RS3. He told me he got confirmation from UPS that it would arrive on Friday. I hope he is correct as I have been excited to see it. The steam engines have been reviewed very positively. Anyone else hear of such good news?

My RS-3 diesel came Friday -- smokes really good and has good low speed for switching- my only problem is the thing is so loud !!!! I share a house. I read the instructions and try holding down the two buttons but it does not change mode -- I can't get it to enter mode to decrease the sound. Anyone else ???? I am disappointed.

He did get it. I got to play with it a bit on Sunday. It is awesome. The speed and sounds are cool. The throttle response is great also. I got to play with a regular lion chief and thought that was great but thought it had a slight lag in controls, the plus was nothing like that. Loved the paint job as well
