LionChief drawbar contacts? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

The drawbar coming from LionChief steam locomotives has four vertical contact strips. Looking from the tender into the cab, from left to right, where specifically does each of those contacts go? I'm guessing they control each of the loco's 4 sounds (chuffing, bell, whistle, announcements) but specifically which function does each contact control?

Oh, yeah, it is odd, they are speaker wires and the unused contacts for the electro-coupler on the plus models that share the same draw bar. All the brains are in the engine. That is assuming I understand the 2014 volume 2 image correctly of the expanded B&O plus steamer.

I took an LC+ loco apart to fit the tender's guts, speakers, couplers, etc. into a new tender, and I tested the four wires: that is what they are. Two go to the speaker, and two to the electro-coupler on the back the tender.

The sounds are all generated by the logic in the locomotive in response to the RF signals from the remote.
