I am posting these photo's for a friend Frank Incantalupo. Frank would like to acknowledge John Rowlen for both his excellent instructions on how to detail these cars and for the inspiration to go ahead and do it. The figures in the lower part of the car are relatively inexpensive and from China. Frank painted the faces on these. In the upper part of the car are the new K-Line figures from Lionel. These figures are a bit smaller than the figures from China so only a little of their butts needed to be shaved off to fit in the seats. Frank's research indicated that the 1948 "Broadway Limited" car interiors were mostly painted in a mix of blues, greens and some red, so these are the colors he used to paint the interiors.  John Rowlen's paint job is a bit more advanced than Frank's. Hope you enjoy these and would like to see other detailing of the new Lionel 21" Sleeper cars

Steve (on behalf of Frank)
