I'm selling off 2 CW-80's I aquired from starter sets that have been powering my accessories.

I want to simplify my setup by adding a Lionel brick to take the place of the two CW-80's

I want to regulate the voltage out of the brick and just daisy chain all of my accessories. This is what I'm doing now with 2 districts and the CW-80s.

The AVC is a nice unit but IMO a bit overkill in price, and I don't need remote control for my accessories. They're either on or off.

I'm considering one of these old 135w powerhouse powerstation units.

The powerstation will give me the ability to regulate the voltage and in spite of its pre programmed 14v accessory output I'll probably connect to the throttle side so I can dial that down closer to 12v.

I just don't like having the two CW's Rob.  They take up more space, I have two throttles I don't use, etc.

I guess a 180w brick with an AVC or TPC for that matter is the way to go? This just seems like alot more power than I need.

Just for giggles I tried running everything on 1 CW-80. It did it without going into overload, but the voltage dropped and certain motored accessories were a bit sluggish.
