I have a original 19510 set with, I believe, everything that goes with it.  It is un-cataloged and is not listed in the Doyle or Greenberg books that I have.  I found one listed on a auction site from 12 years ago and it listed all of the cars but did not list how many tracks, lock on, etc.  I would appreciate any information you can give me regarding the complete set other than the locomotive and rolling stock.

Thanks,

Nick

Peter, that is the set.  However it does not make note of how many tracks or if there was a lock-on, grease, oil, etc.  I have all of the cars and paperwork along with the box and insert but there was a crossover and extra tracks with it and I want to put the proper number of tracks in the box.  8 and 4 seems to fit but I'm not sure that is the correct number.

The set is on page 785 and 786 in Schmid' s Promotional Outfits book.  Sold by JC Penny Co in 1966. Listing is 241 steam loco with white stripe, 234W whistle tender, 6473-25 rodeo car, 3364-25 log dump car with 8 logs, 6176-50 black hopper, 6142-100 green gondola with 2 red canisters and 6130 Santa Fe caboose, black frame no lettering.  In addition, a 260 bumper, 1022-75 LH manual switch, 1013 bundle of 8 curve track, 1013 curve track loose, 1018 straight track, bundle of 3, 1018 straight track, bundle of 5, 6149-25 remote control track, 1073 transformer, 147-25 horn & whistle controller, 1103-50 packed envelope, 909 smoke fluid, form 3063, 1-165 warranty card 926-66 service station list, 11460-10 instructions, 3364-100 instruction sheet, 19442-10 instruction sheet and 237-11 instruction sheet.

It says 'complete and ready to run' on the box, so I would think a lock-on would be included. If you can read the 'Features' list on the box, I think one line says 'couple and un-couple by remote control'? Would that indicate an un-coupling track? I know very little about these older sets. Was just trying to offer a possible suggestion or two if possible.

B&O2368, great information, fits to a tee almost.  The log car has only 3 logs instead of 8 however the instruction sheet also shows only 3 logs maybe 8 is a typo?.  All of the papers are with it along with the switch, bumper and whistle controller.  The envelope I have is #1022-42 instead of 1103-50 and there is no smoke oil however I might have one of those somewhere.  I guess the hard part will be the correct envelope to complete it.

Thanks again and to all who replied.
