Are there passenger cars to go with the Wabash F7s? If not, do you have a feel if they will follow in the next catalog? Looking for a Blue Bird.

I am in for these:
CSX motor City Express, CSX Sd80MAC and 4 scale auto Rack Cars.
CN GP-9 Piggyback Set, CN GP-9 and 3 scale piggyback cars and CNR caboose
AND if the postwar looks like the originals, All these:
2239 IC Freight Set
X-628 Promo Set Navy Alco AB with Miniteman box, Heli, Flat, Sub and Navy Cab.
USMC Alco Olive Drab AB
RI Alco AA's
Scale F3 AA's Burlington
Scale B units to match above
Scale Cal Zepyher 18" Pass. Cars 4 pack and two 2 packs
SD40-2 BN
BNSF Heritage Series SD70's EMD, Burlington, SF, Frisco GN, BN, NP (any you will have to wait till Friday or come down to see them, they look great!)
Oh great, this looks like trouble. Looks like it's going to be a great catalog. I'm really surprised that the Acela is coming back. Somebody 'predicted' it would in a previous thread, guess Lionel took him seriously!
Are the Postwar Inspired engines and sets command or conventional? What is in the girls archive 3-pack please?
Can someone provide a list of the rolling stock? Also please describe the BNSF Heritage Units. Is the NP the two tone Raymond Lowey green? Or is it black with the yellow canoe like on the GP9s.
The suspesne is killing me!!
NP Heritage units are shown as dark and light green, with a white diagonal stripe behind the cab separating the two shades of green. Looks like black roof. Silver trucks and fuel tank. About 1/2 of the NP round logo is on the side of the loco
Great Northern Heritage looks pretty sharp in the BNSF colors with large goat logo on the side. Burlington also looks pretty sharp in grey and red with white diagonal stripes and black roof.
ed h,
What can you tell us about the postwar inspired items?
Are there any VisionLine ES44AC's?
Curious, what is the color scheme on the BNSF/Frisco?
Regards,
Swafford
Not sure why some are called postwar inspired rather than Postwar Celebration or Conv Classics. Certainly the IC F3 set, the US Navy Promo set and UP 50th Ann Alco set look
like the postwar counterparts. Archive Girls 3 pack has pink N5c cab, yellow NYC gondola and aqua green N&W hopper.
Glad to see the Acela is back. But I was really hoping for a lower cost semi-scale, less hi-tech version. Oh well. With this newer Legacy version coming out, maybe the orginal Acela's market value will drop? .
What does the BNSF / Frisco SD70ACe and the BNSF Santa Fe SD70ACe look like?
Regards,
Swafford
Swafford - BNSF Santa Fe Heritage is yellow in the front and blue towards the back with a diagonal break in the colors behind the cab. Two thin diagnoal blue strips with black roof, large oval yellow Santa Fe logo towards the back. Silver trucks and fuel tank.
Frisco looks like off white or cream with black roof. Two large black diagonal stripes
behind the cab. F R I S CO in thin black letters in the mid-back of the loco. silver trucks and fuel tank
Thank you Charlie and to everyone else with information on the new Lionel products.
Good Day Ed,
Thanks for the information on the BNSF Heritage engines. Are there any Intermodal equipment or husky stack cars this year?
Regards,
Frank
No husky stacks, but several new PS-4 Std O flatcars with the Piggyback trailers. Guess they can be added to the CN GP-9 Piggyback set.
Does this mean the kid finally gets his BIG Illinois Central F3 A+B with Rocket
Action Power!!!! IF these are legit....this will be a most memorable day! YOY!!!
I would like to know......
#1.Since they show BLUE/Cream in L&N? Are they doing passenger cars?
#2. How about Visions?
"Glad to see the Acela is back. But I was really hoping for a lower cost semi-scale, less hi-tech version. Oh well. With this newer Legacy version coming out, maybe the orginal Acela's market value will drop?""
Not to worry, the Acela with one additional car included and a MSRP $300.00 less then the original, I'm sure some of those problematic original features will be gone.
Joe
It's a big catalog with lots of engines. Very impressive if they actually make all of it.
"Are the postwar inspired items conventional and will they come in same packaging as the CC series did?"
Saw all the photos! WOW THERE IS ALOT OF ITEMS FOR EVERYONE!!!
All the postwar looks to be conventional.
All the items I want are due in August. I know that doesnt mean much since most of it is always pushed back anyway! But WOW, the prices...ehhhhhhh
Mark
Good Day,
Are there any Vision Line diesel locomotives this year?
Regards,
Swafford
Frank, I did'nt notice any Vision engines in this catalog But when Vision series came out Jerry did say that it would be debuted in the fall catalogs.
The ES44 no longer has Vision status,if that's what your wondering about.
