What I am wondering about is when the LIONEL shipping schedule will be back up, so I can get an idea about the arrival of the GTW SD40 diesel locos.

The Lionel shipping schedule shows Mar 2016 for 6-82278  and  6-82279 which are  the GTW SD40s

That was as of 5 minutes ago.

Is the Allegheny a Vision Line tiered locomotive, at $2199.99, seems like that would be just a standard O price level (these days anyways)?

Pat, what is the cutoff date for preorders for Lionel's '16 signature catalog?

Since I am waiting for the Grand Trunk Western SD40 pair this year, the Grand Trunk Western 0-8-0 steam switcher will have to be skipped.
