Lionel 38 Water Tower Clogged

I just tried to operate my remake of the Lionel 38 water tower, and it is no longer working. The motor goes and the pipe drops, but the water does not pump. I assume it's clogged. Anyone have any helpful tips to fixing this? Thanks

CarGuy, I had that happen. It gets scum growth and clogs things up. Take it apart and clean areas out real good (I used compressed air to clear passageways and tubes) and after cleaning I would add a couple of drops of bleach to water about every week to kill the scum. Hope this helps.
