hello today I took the shell off to see if I could change the wick in the smoke unit I can see that it brown and needs changed and it dose not smoke that well my question is how do you change the wick I don't see how to get inside it to change the owners manual is no help and dated 1999

here is a photo of the smoke unit I don't know the model # my polor express has the same unit

there are two wires going through the top of the black piece to the resister I'm afraid I will break the wires and it will never work again. that's my luck
