Lionel 455 oil derrick hoist and hook help needed | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

greetings, now that I got my Lionel 455 working ( with help from forum members) I have a question.

the hoist and hook seem to be something that one can set up to work?

the hoist barrel has no handle, I can adapt one. The 455 came without the hook and thread.

i have a hook (gantry hook?)I have some heavy duty thread. I see in the top of the tower there are three holes.

and there is a wheel guide hanging inside the top of tower. Is there a diagram available to do the set up or threading for this?

It's probably fairly obvious but not sure about this. Any advice appreciated.
