Lionel 6-22998 Triple Action Magnet Crane 282R Postwar Celebration 1999

Repairing one of these units. There is a output drive shaft on each motor. The end of the shafts terminate in the crane platform. One of the shaft has a small plastic spacer between the platform and the other doesn't . I'm wondering if one is missing and if the other is even in the right spot. I looked a various magnetic cranes on lionel' s website. It is called a output shaft sleeve. The older unit had a long and short one. There have been some changes as time went on.

The 6-22998 shows the sleeve as

6SP2998029

OUTPUT SHAFT SLEEVE

Does, anyone have a 6-22998 they can check to see if there are 2. One on each motor shaft or one and it's location.
