I'm wondering if anyone knows if the searchlights are solid brass, and thus could stand strong dremel polishing, or brass plate, in which it can't?
Along those lines: is there a way to find out, for the various engines and cars, what parts are plated and which are solid? Again, that would make a huge difference in how well they can hold up to various degrees of mechanical cleaning/polishing.
