As mentioned in another thread, Lionel once again appeared at New York Comic Con this past week. As a regular attendee of NYCC since 2013, it’s good to see Lionel participating at this event.
The Lionel staff were very enthusiastic as they interacted with the public and Mr. Phillips mentioned to me that results of attending the con have been very positive. There were four box cars and a steam switcher exclusive to the event and all appear to have sold out. Other equipment themed with a variety of pop culture properties was available as well. We purchased two of the exclusive box cars and a Mickey Mouse hand car. I’ve included a picture of the display below. It was very well done. I hope to see Lionel continue to attend New York Comic Con.
