Would you recommend it as a first printer still?

I have many different printers Prusa, Bambu, and Voron DIY printers. Tried resin to messy

I can vouch for Bambu's they just work and say without a doubt very good buy. I would definitely go with a P1P or P1S the carbon is not worth the extra money in my honest opinion.

The only thing with Bambu is its proprietary and no guarantee on future support and they are currently being sued for patent infringements so there is that and did not stop me from buying one.

Vorons are fun and print great to but you have to build them from kits great learning experience. open source so part will not be an issue in the future.

Prusa are great too they work as well bit expensive but open source so part will not be an issue in the future.

Support i good for all of these printers. Bambu ams is the easiest solution for multicolor printing and I have tried most of them.

I like the A1's $299 price. Been thinking about getting into 3d printing and that seems like a great price. Couple tunnel portals and other train things, it's paid for.

Jeff,

It is a very good price but think about if your going to want to print ABS or ASA at some point because an enclosure is important for that which make the P1S nice choice. You can only use the AMS lite if you want to do multicolor and its quite the pain because of the space it requires.

I have the A1 Mini with the AMS lite and I am seriously thinking about the P1S just for the being able to stack it on top.
