I think Trainman9 got the LEGACY CAB-1L/BASE-1L Command Set for $179.95 which includes both the CAB-1L remote and the BASE-1L command base.

Please keep in mind that if you already have a Cab 2 Command Base, all you need is the Cab1L handheld. The Cab1L works just fine with a Cab 2 Command Base.

That's how I run mine and I have had no trouble with it. Matter of fact, most of the time I use the Cab 1L rather than the Cab 2 handheld.

I bought the complete system not just the remote. And if you paid $112.99 for just the remote then you are the one that got taken!!

MartyE is right on the money. A Cab 1 L will not work with a Cab 1 base.  The innards of a Cab 1 L are different and more modern, and use a different frequency than the original Cab 1 remotes that is compatible with Legacy.  They work with Cab 2 and their own Cab 1 L bases.

I would be careful using a cab1L base and a legacy base.  could cause a conflict.
