Working to reproduce a rare dusplay: the blister pack rotating dusplay stand
Replies sorted oldest to newest
I have the original signage and racks fir this display. Several “versions” were offered by lionel: the rack was the same but came with different starter supplies: O27 track, O27 track and accessories or just 027 accessories. Most were the unique blister packs but also used some standard accessories: gateman, floodlight tower, 111 and 110 trestle sets. I will post some more pictures and details.

I always liked that packaging. It probably helped sales since the customer could see the item, rather than it being hidden inside a box. The contactor for the crossing gate and semaphor was packaged in the side of the box along with hookup wires and instructions. Sometimes so tightly that the item was stuck inside the box and not rattle around. Even though it was noted on the package, I wonder how many people discarded the carton not knowing that other parts were inside.
But how can you play with them when they're a sealed in packaging?
Another great project, thanks for sharing! What's just as interesting are the photos of the shop, a glimpse into a very busy place 👍
Great project!

Nice! Excellent work as usual from the "King of the Dealer Displays."
Cool!
Nice work. Plus you have room to add to your collection.
Amazing work, as usual! I greatly admire your efforts to continue the restoration and recreation of the Lionel Dealer Displays.
