I don't model that era but that is one good looking locomotive.  Sounds nice too!

Banelson - How long are those passenger cars??

The various photographs above, do not do justice to the actual model. I inspected one of the models at our local hobby shop, last Saturday, and to my eye the colors are right on, especially the blue.

I saw it today at Americas Best, it's stunning!!

I was at America Best about 2 weeks ago...that store is jam packed, I spent an hour in there making sure I saw everything!  Saw some nice stuff.

15”.  I know they look pretty small behind that engine, but that was what was on hand.  I do like those passenger cars in general though, nicely detailed inside.

Ive recently been working on a lab car for the Gevo...but in looking at this E8...I wonder how it will look behind it.  Makes me want the Demo E8.

It is a very nice model, great paint work, horn seams a bit weak, otherwise very nice

Can someone show me the horn sound on this engine?

Go to the Anouncements Forum, look for the post about Open House BDSME under my name. I have four videos of the PRR E8s, three have the horn blowing. I don't know how anyone could say it sounds weak.

running on a larger club layout with multiple trains running certainly overpowers the sound of this engine, unlike other Legacy engines, F7 for example.
