Lionel Flyonel order form 2016

Well, if there's a SP&S Northern out there, I'll order it.

Interesting. More SD-70s, and no new ES44s.

They have inventory for five existing road names of the ES44s so that is probably why no new ones.

The Northerns are Milwaukee, Union Pacific, Frisco, and NYC.

Price on the northern is $529.99.....I am trying to find out if the have FlyerChief inside.

Well, not overwhelming by any means, but I will order the MKT and WP heritage units with a smile on my face! 

I hope, really hope, the next run of northerns has FlyerChief.  I'm surprised they can FlyerChief up a docksider, that's a small bugger.

Well, about 2 years too late on the MKT heritage unit for me.  With retirement on the horizon and a major unexpected household expense coming this year after the thaw, I won't be placing any new preorders.  I might eventually get one on the secondary market.  If not, no big deal.

Guess the catalog will at least be good eye candy.

Great Banjo, now you have to believe Lionel heard your wish for a Katy engine.

SD 70's labeled as new are Katy, WP, UP, EMD Demo, BNSF, Kansas City Southern, Norfolk Southern and CSX.  It would appear from looking at past catalogs That the Katy, WP and EMD Demo are the only ones that are truly new.  The others may be different paint versions of roads they have done before.  I have no pictures to compare.

I will wait and see on any new sd70's ! If they do not smoke and sound any better than the ones I have it will be a no go.

Why not upgrade the detail on the geeps?

It would probably be better to build a new GP from the wheels up and leave the traditional one alone..

Yes a new geep would be even better!

It's a shame that the EMD scheme is not the one from after Cat bought them.  Pretty cool looking.

I wonder if the UP, BNSF, KCS, NS and CSX SD70ACe's are offered in more than one cab number!

Probably a licensing issue with Cat. 

I'm somewhat surprised at all the reissues.  Would have thought maybe CN would've been included in the mix.

Well the BNSF does not surprise me, given the first go around in 2012 only had one road number, and if the KCS is the grey version that would also make sence, it is one of the harder ones to find out there. I don't mess around with eastern railroads so I don't know how hard it is to find the NS version.  I would agree, I would think getting as many raodnames out there as possible would only benefit us all.

I'm surprised there are no Legacy Alco's mentioned.  They were built to order and they all sold out quickly.  As for the Berkshires, my guess is by the time they came out, the 2016 catalog was already set and they did not want to plan more without knowing how well they would sell.

Ben, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find  black and white NS!!! Unreal. I can bout near find all the rest, but not a single one NS sd70. I was kinda wishing for a es44 NS, but I guess lionel don't like'me enough to make.

I live in southern Ohio, so I'm in CSX and NS country.

I was surprised to see another southern bell KCS unit. Ro until just recently had them in stock at a blow out price, but the gray KCS units all disappeared long ago.  I expected Lionel to do that one if they were gunna go KCS again.

Ro has an early buy price of $489.95 (until 3/30/16,) $499.95 afterwards on the new SD70's.

He's showing due in December.

I went on there and put my order in this morning.  3 more SD70's and I'm also itching to see that demonstrator to get here for sure.

Yes I did and I appreciate that. I actually called unlimited yesterday before I ordered and my luck being the way it is, he said " well I can't put my hands on it right now, I'll have to check with my distributor "...so I'm waiting to hear from him Monday.    Meanwhile,  I went ahead and ordered 3 NS units and 1 demonstrator units pre order from RO.
