Because I am dismantling my layout to make room for a much bigger one ( and an incidental new master bedroom) I need to store my trains for a few months. The New Lionel Foklift has a decorative white plastic crane which was probably a press fit and now wont come out.
Any thoughts about how to remove this piece so that I can store the accessory in its original box would be very appreciated.

Carefully try to squeeze the 2 nubs on the underside of the crane and push out.
Dont worry if it breaks, there are a ton of replacement cranes available from just about every parts dealer.

Nelson, Thank you very much. It was an easy fix- remove two screws, squeeze the base of the “job” and done. Thanks to all who responded.
