Are the side window cab shades on Lionel GP30’s easy to fold down ? Do I need to remove them first and reattach etc ?
I’ve never taken one of these apart yet
I think they are a cool detail just not sure how I feel about them in the up position

The sunshades have two plastic pins molded in. If you try to fold them down, they will break off. You could break them off and glue them in the down position.
Remove them...do not bend them. Cut tabs/pins off and glue in the down position. I did the same thing to 2715
