Lionel Legacy Question Version and screen view Lionel Strasburg 2-10-0 2231050

I got the New Lionel Strasburg #90 2-10-0 and was able to give it an ID. It is running just fine. However the Cab 2 screen that I am getting is all numerical no symbols. The Lionel Manual show symbols for Legacy Railsound ( Volume (Crewtalk smoke etc.) My Legacy version is 1.6. The numbers on the cab 2 are do correctly associate with the Railsounds symbols so everything is working. So how I I get the symbols to appear on the cab 2 screen instead of the numbers? Also the Brake slider in the Cab 2 is the only thing that the engine does not respond seem to respond to when you move it up or down. Thanks for any help.

You have to enter the type. Each ID defaults to CAB1 mode- hence your numeric icons.

You manually can change the mode in the cab to 2 LEGACY for this engine ID number.

With the engine selected for running, press the INFO key. You can then use the scroll key to select tabs and for each tab set the various features like Legacy operation. When you're done, press the INFO key again and start running.
